These pictures are from a 10-day trip to Japan in early
December of 2001.
I was in the country on business (meetings with a variety of different companies) while Satomi and Julian spent the week visiting friends and relatives. We had two full weekends to enjoy ourselves, however. The first weekend we traveled to Tokyo (the Shibuya and Harajuku districts) and the following weekend we spent in the Yokohama area, with a nice day trip to Kamakura. The pictures were taken with our digital camera, cropped and in some cases fixed for contrast. (Julian took quite a few of these pictures...)
